This two-day introductory course equips emerging and current marketing leaders in Christian and not-for-profit organisations to lead with greater clarity, confidence and purpose. It explores the marketing leader in three ways: as a strategic growth leader within the organisation, as a team leader in the age of AI, and as a person whose character, self-leadership and wellbeing shape their effectiveness.
Participants will examine how marketing can support mission, communicate change, build a culture of growth, and strengthen engagement with stakeholders. The course also explores how to lead teams productively and ethically, while responding wisely to the opportunities and challenges of AI. Throughout, the emphasis is on Christian values, stewardship, reflection and sustainable leadership practice.
Designed for an introductory level, the course combines practical teaching, discussion, multiple-choice questions, reflective activities and personal action planning.
It is ideal for those working in churches, schools, ministries, charities and other mission-led organisations who want to grow as thoughtful, effective marketing leaders.
Duration: 2 days in person
